BIOGRAPHY OF THE DIRECTOR

Born & Brought up in a small village Dhamangaon near Nashik in Rural Maharashtra. I have studied Medical(BAMS) from Pune, but I was never interested in Medical, it was much of a fallback career. I was always fascinated by Movies, Storytelling, Filmmaking, but never had any platform or enough resources to pursue it. I started studying filmmaking on my own from whatever I could get my hands on. I made my first short film; Scratch, when I was in the 3rd year of medical with help of my classmates and some kids as actors, shot the film in my own village, surprisingly it was screened at Boston Film Festival, Flickers Rhode Island Film Festival & later went to 8 film festivals winning 4 awards. Later that year the script of my 2nd short film; The Last Letter won 1st prize in India in a Short Screenplay Writing Competition held at IFP. I worked with Terribly Tiny Tales in Mumbai as a Writer for 10 months, Currently, I am working on a Feature Film Script.
