Talking about how it is possible to learn to love our transgender bodies, even when those bodies do not accurately reflect who we are and cause us distress and dysphoria. I share how loving our bodies does not mean that we aren’t trans or don’t need to transition, but instead is a wise way to cultivate compassion towards ourselves, as we go through transition. I also share tips on how to practice gratitude for the things our bodies give us so that we can hold both experiences, distress, and love, in the same space at the same time. This video would also be relevant to anyone, with a mental or physical condition, to help address feelings of frustration, sadness, and pain, in a more self-compassionate way.
