Some of Taiwan’s Winter Olympic hopefuls are training with improvised gear ahead of the Beijing 2022 Games. Winter athletes on the subtropical island would normally travel to training facilities abroad, but Covid-19 restrictions have limited the time some of the island’s athletes have been able to practise on real snow and ice.
