When this 15-year old boy, Aiden (in rainbow suit), came out to his folks they wanted to show support for him in a meaningful way, so they threw a coming out party for him in a Maryland restaurant. His teacher served as the DJ. The staff participated enthusiastically, some conveying that they wish they had been shown such celebration when they came out.
“That’s what should happen” says Gay USA co-host, Andy Humm. “Absolutely” agrees co-host Ann Northrop.
