In Cuvee Koffi 24 distinctive Waterford single malts, each one from a single farm origin come together for a profound, complex and compelling experience. This is The Waterford, our oldest whisky to date at 6 years of age, conceptually inspired by Bordeaux’s greatest chateaux as the whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts, marrying terroir derived flavours for ultimate complexity. Maturation in a combination of toptimal French and American Oak, including barrels from the Grand Crus of Bordeaux, Virgin and first fill American oak and also Vin Doux Naturel. This bottling features a bespoke label, commissioned from artist Nathanael Koffi. Tasting Notes: nose of white pepper, grated lemon peel, lapsang tea leaf, hint of herbs, cola cubes and sherbert powder give way to a flavour on the palate of aniseed, spices, tobacco leaf, summer fruits, strawberry pavlova with a long finish of dry spiciness and dried fruits.
