Disney Star Piper Curda has opened up about her sexuality, revealing that she is asexual. The 28-year-old actor, who’s best known for their roles in I Didn’t Do It and Teen Beach 2, got candid about asexuality on the Zach Sang Show, explaining that it’s a spectrum. “Sometimes that means you do not experience sexual attraction and you’re also sex repulsed, like you do not have sex.” But for Piper, they share that although they’d never suggest sex with a partner, they’re still occasionally open to it if asked. Disney fans were first introduced to Piper on A.N.T. Farm when they were around 14 years old and then shone in her lead role as Jasmine Kang on I Didn’t Do It, where she had multiple love interests. “Well I told him I couldn’t stop thinking about someone else.” However now, offscreen, she’s revealed that she realised something was “off” with her sexuality when she was a teen in high school. “Everyone started talking about sex and I would have these conversations with some of my girlfriends and they’d be like, ‘don’t you guys just think about it all the time?’ and I was like… no.” She first acknowledged that she didn’t want to sleep with women, despite recognising their beauty, then realised she also didn’t want to sleep with men either.
