Two neurons will synapse with eachother, one will be the presynaptic neuron and the other is the postsynaptic neuron. In the presynaptic neuron, there is an active zone where vesicles of neurotransmitters are docked and released by the SNARE complex proteins. BUT, before these vesicles of neurotransmitters are ready to be released into the synaptic cleft (space in between two neuron synapses), the vesicles will he in the reserve pool. The reserve pool of vesicles are moved by kinesin motor proteins along microtubules, and sometimes on actin! Other motor proteins like Dyenin will take these vesicles away from the active zone and go back to the cell body.
