All dressed up and nowhere to go? In Barbados, that’s impossible. There’s always something to do and somewhere to go. If you are ready for some great fun and excellent parties then you should try hitting Harbour Lights, one of the more renowned clubs in Barbados. Don’t be mistaken, partying in Barbados isn’t like anything you will ever experience. From some of the open air clubs to some of the drinks made with the famous Mount Gay rum.

Harbour Lights is in itself an open air club set right on the beautiful beach of Carlisle Bay. Can you imagine partying right on the sand in the cool Caribbean breeze? It facilitates those who want to party like a rockstar on the beach and those who want the open air but not get sand on their feet. Its layout is classic, not like the regular club. There are two easily accessible bars, one inside and the other outside on the dance floor that wraps around so you can get to it from either side.

The music itself is an eclectic compilation provided by the talented in house djs who also take requests. They play anything from the good oldie goldies to the new hip-hop and reggae. There is a little something for everyone.

The cost is approximately $25 US and they usually charge less depending on how late you get to the club. For that price, all drinks are free. Situated at the back is a kiosk that sells fast food which is convenient because you’re going to need something to eat after your full night of dancing and partying.

The dress code is casual but you can feel free to dress up. Whether it be flip flops and shorts or heels and a party dress, you can wear whatever makes you happy. Friday nights are one of the busiest nights being the ultimate party night for the club and Sundays even though more laid back are just as enjoyable. Free parking is provided in a lot situated next door to the location.

Whether it be a chill night of partying or crazy fun you are looking for, you’ll be able to find it at Harbour Lights. Who knows, you may even learn a couple new dance moves while you are it or just make new friends and fun memories. Don’t forget to check out the wall where people sign their names and if you get chance, see if you can leave a memory cause Harbour Lights will definitely leave one with you.
