We went on holiday to this luxury villa recently and it was so good I thought I would write an article about it. Can I first describe it in more detail?

This is a luxurious, fully air conditioned, detached 2 bedroom villa. On the first floor the living areas are equipped with cable TV, DVD player and an iPod docking station. These open onto a large terrace with Weber gas barbecue and outdoor dining furniture. The open plan kitchen and breakfast bar have an American style fridge freezer and ice machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, blender and full hob and oven.

Downstairs is a powder room and two large bedrooms (the master with separate sitting area has ample space to double up as a family room – travel cots can be arranged on request). Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with twin sinks.

Guests have full use of the villa’s laundry facilities and bed and bath linen including beach towels are provided. Outside, the villa is surrounded by a secluded garden and patio area. Forest Hills has a large communal pool with smaller children’s section, sun loungers are available and there are also shaded areas.

Barbados is one of the Caribbeans friendliest islands. Covering just 166 square miles, it enjoys almost year round sunshine in a tropical climate. Whatever your interest from sailing, surfing, fishing and scuba diving to sports such as tennis, golf, cricket, polo and horse racing, Barbados has something for everyone.

The island also boasts many sights including Harrison’s Caves, Orchid World, Andromeda Botanical gardens, the Barbados Museum, and Mount Gay rum factory, also the capital Bridgetown is a lively city with good duty free shopping. If you prefer to relax, head for one of the islands beaches, the calm waters of the Caribbean west coast or the rugged beauty of the Atlantic east coast.

Finally, you could end your day with a visit to one of Barbados’ world class restaurants.

It is a haven for relaxation and all year round warmth.
