Established more than 2500 years ago, this pagoda is one of the most important Buddhism religious foundations in Myanmar. With a height of more than 1600 meters and many wonderful ornaments, the dome is quite impressive and usually admired by numerous travelers who tour Myanmar.

Other than the historical monuments of Myanmar, the country enjoys having some wonderful gardens and parks. There is for example the Hlawga National Park, which is located around 30 kilometers away from the center of Yangon. This park is featured with its large impressive lake that resulted from the construction of a huge dam in the 1920s. The Hlawga National Park attracts several travelers who spend their vacations in Myanmar.

With a surface area of more than 800 acres, the Hlawga National Park is house for more than 70 rare types of animals and more than 85 types of birds. There is also a small yet notable museum that illustrates the traditional construction methods of the country with many models and examples. The park welcomes many tourists who travel to Myanmar is it is considered one of the most favorite touristic spots of the country.
