Topic: LGBTQ Teens and Depression

During this teen friendly session, we will look deeply into the issues surrounding gender, sexual orientation and non-binary identification–often leading to higher rates of depression and suicide compared to traditional cisgender teens. CHC’s adolescent therapist, Jenna Borrelli, and transgender college/school counselor, Brad Ward, will share the data trends, tools, and resources to help parents and teens understand the issues and build a supportive and accepting home life.
