I called this month : Inspire Your Life and my first topic in January is my most important value : Courage! What is Courage? Most of us are not born courageous, especially now it’s more complicated than ever not only for the LGBTQ+ but also for straight, all people in general, today take a risk or choose uncomfortable decisions isn’t easy at all, because we love comfort, let’s be honest.
When was the last time you take a risk about something you didn’t know the outcome.
If you search for the definition of Courage : Courage, bravery, valor, bravado refer to qualities of spirit and conduct. Courage permits one to face extreme dangers and difficulties without fear: to take (or lose) courage. Bravery implies true courage with daring and an intrepid boldness: bravery in a battle.
I love this explanation of courage because it says the real meaning of this important value
In this video, I talk how different has been my relationship with courage.
I think I have been courageous most of my life but first of all I didn’t know and secondly I was ashamed about this courage.
Fortunately, the last years have been a discover who am I and most important what are the most important value in my life.
Being part of the Lgbtq+ community, we are all courageous people because we have more difficulties than others, we don’t like, people who could say….oh yes….using sympathy but again we have more challenges than others.
I think in each of one of us there is courage or we can find a way to have it
How?
Being courageous in the midst of fear can build your self-confidence.
Embracing courage allows you to see the world from a different perspective.
Making courage a part of your life equips you with the ability to empower others to do the same.
Choosing to step out of your comfort zone and be more courageous makes you a more well-rounded person and broadens the experiences you have in your life.
Being courageous makes you a more successful person because you’re more likely to pursue your dreams and seize opportunities as they present themselves.
The most important is : Trust Yourself. With each year of life experience, as you pour over what you enjoy versus what makes you cringe, what makes your heart sing versus what tears at your heartstrings, you hone your instincts. You begin to realize what is worth taking a risk for – love, a particular career, justice, etc. And when you know what is important to you, you begin to realize that you must choose what you care most about over the fear that stands in the way.
LGBTQ people have to fight for their rights and courage is one the most important value. In my channel, I will talk about LGBTQ culture, issues, fears and how to overcome them, motivation ,relationships, dating, love and more, more and moreeee
