Tonight we talk Depression and the stigma associated with having it while being a black man. What does this stigma look like? How can we change this narrative so that men can seek the help they need without shame?

Today I am joined with a friend and guest Samuel Bell Jr. Sam is a Poet, Writer, Multimedia Tech and a graduate of Wilson Magnet High School and SUNY Brockport with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. He is a former News Photographer at WROC News 8 and Time Warner Cable News (Now Spectrum 1 News) and former writer/blogger for Bleacher Report. His first poetry book, “The Broken Race Dialect, Poems About Anarchy” is scheduled for release later this year. He has had extensive experience with the struggles of Depression and Anxiety, and was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder several years ago.”
