How to stay fit in the winter when you really don’t like the cold weather. A good trainer, try to get outside 1 day a week and some structured workouts (see link below for GreshFit). Rest/recovery is just as important as riding, especially to let yourself recover to start strong in the Spring.

I don’t race, but I do like to be competitive in group rides, chase KOMs and generally ride fast and hard, this routine really helps achieve that. I have been able to build strength in the winter months which is great.
