A year ago I did something I never imagined myself doing- I wrote and read out a coming out letter to my family and recorded their reactions! I’m now ready to share my story 🙂
I show clips of me coming out to my mum, siblings and dad and talk about what happened after.
I hope that this video can help any queer Muslims who may be feeling alone and I hope it can educate and challenge peoples views on sexuality.
We as queer people get to choose our family and the people we’re around, I am your family- we are a family here!!
