In my previous video, Crunchyroll Didn’t Stop (linked below) defending the maligned High Guardian Spice as a decent show, I noted a fight scene which seemed to take visual influence from the Touhou franchise, and that I consider Touhou to be “core trans culture.” A few people asked what I meant by this, so I took to Twitter to ask my trans viewership how many were into Touhou and why (tweet linked below). The footage is of myself playing Ten Desires for the first time (notwithstanding 20 mins of practice rounds). It’s been forever since I played any Touhou, though I recently got into playing shmups more often, particularly DoDonPachi and DoDonPachi DaiOuJou, the latter’s mobile port, Beautiful Death, and an iOS game called Hannya Bullet Hell. I have reviewed those two iOS games on this channel as youtube shorts, which I publish frequently.
