In September we welcomed Shey Thorn, co-Executive Director of AIDS Alabama South, for our monthly webinar. Shey spoke to participants about HIV/AIDS awareness among gay and bisexual populations, as well as the aging population. He talked about the need for such awareness as disparities and stigma persist for a virus that is highly treatable. HIV is not a death sentence!
