“I absolutely love Christmas. It’s a nostalgic time for me, filled with many fond memories. Every year I transform the house into Santa’s Grotto. There is nothing better than watching my favourite festive films with the Christmas tree in prize position, covered tastefully in decorations and fairy lights, launching me straight into the Christmas spirit. For me, Christmas is a fabulously creative time of year, and I would like to share some of that with you.

Crackers are a great addition to the start of any Christmas meal. For children, it is great fun seeing what explodes from the inside.

This is a great project to make while watching TV or on the train to work. Think creatively and use up any felt that you might have lying around.
Cardboard Tube Snowflake
I thoroughly enjoy making these snowflakes. There are so many patterns that you can make, especially if you mix up the size of cardboard tube that you use.
Napkin Rings
Napkin rings are great for keeping the table tidy when you have lots of guests. These napkin rings are fairly sturdy, so you can use them time and again.
Cork Rudolph the Reindeer
This project is well worth the time invested. Rudolph is ultra cute and you can make the rest of his family by changing up the materials and using whatever you have stashed away
Mini Envelope Advent Calendar
These envelopes can be recycled each year if they get damaged. Ribbons and tags can be kept for next year and re-used too.
Recycled Paper Wrapping
Using ink stamps is such a simple and quick way to make something plain really beautiful. Creating many patterns and colours and even overlaying the stamp colours once they are dry can produce some lovely effects.
Pine Cone Tree
These decorations can be particularly effective on a windowsill or dotted through the middle of the dinner table. They are a fun project for children to get involved in, and the fun starts when you go out to collect the pine cones.
