I try to ride my bike 5 miles every day that weather permits. I have loved to ride my bike since I was about 6 years old and I still do it as part of my fitness routine.
When it gets cold I used to hang it up and wait for warmer weather but of late I decided that I could extend my riding into colder weather by dressing better. I was never the type
to by fancy biking wear, I always wore a t-shirt or hoodie and shorts or maybe sweat pants.
My winter bike riding ensamble consists of 2 t-shirts with a ling underwear shirt between them and a hoodie on top. For the lower half I wear a pair of padded
(it wasn’t optional or I wouldn’t have gotten padding), lined bike riding pants with a pair of nylon workout shorts on top of them. Footwear is a pair of Pony low tops with
2 pairs of sox on. It is pretty simple really but fits my style. If it is really chilly I might add a knit cap.
