Barbara Walters catches up with Jazz Jennings, a young girl who says she was born in the wrong body. After being diagnosed with gender dysphoria at age 5, Jazz began living as a transgender girl and has officially transitioned from male to female.

On the surface, the Jennings and their four children are a typical American family. But when “20/20” first interviewed them, their youngest child, a kindergartener named Jazz, was already one of the youngest known cases of an early transition from male to female.
From the moment he could speak, Jazz made it clear he wanted to wear a dress. At only 15 months, he would unsnap his onesies to make it look like a dress. When his parents praised Jazz as a “good boy,” he would correct them, saying he was a good girl.
