We know there are gay and lesbian animals, we know there are bisexual animals and queer animals, but what about #transgender animals? 🤔 It would seem so! Here, I’ve gathered some examples of animals which have a gender expression that doesn’t match their sex… what do you think?

🌈 Happy #Pride everyone! It’s the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, and while LGBTQIA+ rights have come a long way since 1969, there are still groups that need a lot of help to gain equality and acceptance.

Quick note: My goal in every video is to make you *feel* something, *think* something, or *talk to a friend* about what you learned. If any of those apply to you, please consider subscribing to the channel, or sharing the video with your friends on social media! A few seconds of effort on your end really goes a long way, and thanks for even reading this paragraph, it means a lot. 💕

~~~~~ 🐣 EASTER EGGS FOR READERS 🐣 ~~~~~
P.S — Fun fact, there are actually multiple lionesses that all exhibit the same male gender expression, so it’s not an isolated case. They are, however, all related which means it might be some genetic condition that is causing it. #MoreResearchIsNeeded! Interestingly, the “trans gene” hasn’t been looked at a LOT in humans, because we have a more complex nature-nurture condition, as well as social interaction that all contribute to gender expression and internal identity!
P.P.S. — The hummingbird is another animal that exhibits lots of transitioned gender expression (that’s why I put it in the original thumb even though I didn’t include it in the video!)
P.P.P.S — So, when you google Trace Dominguez, #tracedominguezgay is one of the top searches for me. It’s a question people have, and I totally get it! That’s how I knew I’d made an impact on the ‘net, when google autocomplete had lots of things I’d never searched. I’m not gay, but I’m also not 100% straight, very few people are, because sexuality is a spectrum! That’s all the tea you’ll get today, but maybe someday we can talk about it more. Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to include it in the description and see if it boosts my results!
