In his last full season prior to joining the Spurs, Rudy Gay averaged 17.2 ppg in 2015-2016. He averaged 18.7 the following season before his season was cut short after 30 games because of an injury.

Since arriving in San Antonio, Gay has averaged 11.5, 13.7 and 10.8 – in that order.
