2021 Pro V1 and Pro V1x offer a combination of performance, quality and consistency never before seen in the game. These all-new designs will elevate your performance on the golf course with gains in three crucial areas… LONGER DISTANCE, INCREASED CONTROL, and SOFTER FEEL.

1. LONGER DISTANCE New, softer formulations in both the solid core of new Pro V1 and the dual core of new Pro V1x work in concert with the new high flex modulus casing layer for each model, delivering faster ball speeds and lower spin. New Pro V1 and Pro V1x have also been equipped with two completely new dimple designs that maximize distance by optimizing trajectory for each model. Taken together, these improvements deliver soaring flight and more speed with less spin – a perfect combination for longer distance off the tee and with the longer clubs.

2. INCREASED CONTROL

To balance the low long game spin achieved by the new Pro V1 and Pro V1x, the cover of each model is now precision cast using the softest thermoset urethane composition ever used on a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball. This softer urethane generates more spin on shots with wedges and higher lofted irons, resulting in greater greenside control and shot-stopping power.

3. SOFTER FEEL

The reformulated urethane cover of new Pro V1 and Pro V1x provides the additional benefit of enhanced feel where you need it most – in the short game. Fine-tuned during extensive Pro V1 and Pro V1x prototype testing, both models transmit responsive feel and satisfying sound that has been validated by tour professionals and amateur players, alike.

New Pro V1 offers the greatest combination of speed, spin and feel in the game and is the best fit for the majority of golfers. Pro V1 features a mid-high, penetrating trajectory, low long game spin and high short game spin and very soft feel. New Pro V1x has a fast, high flight and delivers spin when and where a golfer wants it. Pro V1x is designed for players who want a higher trajectory and increased spin relative to Pro V1, with a slightly firmer feel.

Both golf balls spin more with the irons and around the green. Both golf balls will feel softer as a result of an improved ZG process core and dual core, in the case of Pro V1x. Both golf balls will fly higher than their predecessor. But it’s important to remember that the performance differences between these two golf balls remains the same. Pro V1 continues to be mid-flight with an exceptional spin into and around the green. Pro V1x flies higher with more spin, particularly with the irons and green side. Both golf balls deliver an outstanding performance choice for golfers looking to play their best.

TOUR ADOPTION

New Pro V1 and Pro V1x launched in October 2020 in Las Vegas. The feedback immediately was outstanding. Greg Chalmers texted us and said, “You guys have officially built the perfect golf ball.” He talked about long distance. He talked about the exceptional spin with his irons. He talked about the incredible short game feel. Everything we set out to achieve, Greg validated the very first week.

Brian Gay became the first winner with new Pro V1. It’s his first win since he was an early adopter of Pro V1 back in 2013. Adam Scott put new Pro V1x and a new TSI driver in play at the Houston Open. He led the field in distance and he was fifth in birdies. And Cam Smith set a record at Augusta, the first player in history to record four straight rounds in the sixties at the Masters. While he didn’t slip on the green jacket, Cam proved that the performance of these golf balls was worth putting in play right away. And the trust he shows in our new golf balls is outstanding for the first major it was available to play in.
