GIMME KISS (c)2008
A feel-good, short film about kissing…

One facet of this journey we all share which touches me most,
is that moment when we are connected through a common denominator, regardless of our differences. The capacity to be connected and inclusive in this way is a reminder of our sameness, our humanity and existence together. It is this inclusiveness, which gives the world a sense of hope and joy.

Kissing is one such moment.

Experienced by everyone at some time, no matter what age, culture, ethnicity, gender, or religion, kissing is expressed in a variety of ways: sweetly, affectionately, passionately, erotically, in greeting or in departure.

Filmed on the streets of San Francisco and Berkeley, in GIMME KISS, people from all walks of life are seen kissing: mothers, fathers and babies, strangers blowing kisses, teenagers, elders, straight, gay, singles, lovers, homeless, authorities, pets, the young and old.

I feel fortunate to have met and known the many diverse “kissers” and smile each time I see the film. I trust, and it is my hope, that viewers will feel the same way.
