We would like to invite you to the interdisciplinary and intersectional talk with Dr. François Scarborough Clemmons (Middlebury College). The talk with the Grammy Award-winning Opera Singer, Children’s Television Star, ethnomusicologist and LGBTQ+ advocate will take place over Zoom on Tuesday, August 31st (2021) at 18h15.

To provide cultural context we offered critical screenings of “Porgy & Bess” July 20th (The Metropolitan Opera 2019 season) and “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” August 10th (Morgan Neville 2019 Fred Rogers Documentary). If you missed these viewings no worries, you can stream both productions online. They are not required for the talk, but might be helpful to understand context – and are both worth your time.
